The Democratic Party (PDM) intends to stage a nationwide ecologization campaign that will involve volunteers this weekend. The announcement was made by the party’s spokesman Vitalie Gamurari in a press briefing after the weekly meeting of the PDM, IPN reports.

The campaign was entitled “Environment that counts. Show you care”. “A concrete plan was worked out to involve citizens from all the communities en masse. It is a practice of attracting volunteers that is widely used in the European states. We hope this initiative will arouse the interest of the citizens in Moldova,” stated Vitalie Gamurari.

The nationwide ecologization campaign was scheduled for April 28.
