After the meeting of the Democratic Party’s Political Bureau, the party’s leader Marian Lupu told the journalists that extended consultations involving the Democratic lawmakers will take place during the next 30-40 minutes. The Prime Minister designate Vlad Filat will be invited to the final debates in the afternoon, IPN reports.

Marian Lupu said that the most important aspects will be addressed in the discussions with Filat. The subjects will refer to the way the main state institutions must work and to the composition of the new Cabinet. Marian Lupu reiterated that the Democratic Party will not accept discredited persons in the executive.

Asked which of the Democratic ministers will keep their posts, Lupu answered that all those who didn’t discredit themselves.
