The Democratic Party has started consultations with its territorial organizations before announcing its presidential candidate, IPN learned from a press release of the party.

The party's General Secretariat has requested the territorial organizations to intensify consultations at the local level and prepare the nomination of the Democratic candidate for the upcoming ballot. The internal consultation will take place during 18-25 August, and the results will be totaled by the leaderships of the Democratic territorial organizations.

The consultation will involve all the party members from each primary organization, according to the press release. Members will be also asked to propose items for the future candidate's program.
