The members of the Democratic Party collected over 100,000 lei to support the persons affected by floods in Hancesti district, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the party. The communique says the Democratic Party remains near the people and monitors attentively the situation. Earlier this week, the leader of the PDM Marian Lupu provided by 3,000-5,000 lei from the party's funds to flood-affected inhabitants of Corjeuti village, Briceni. A number of 170 houses were flooded in Nemteni village of Hancesti district after the Prut overflowed its banks. In Cotul Morii village of the same district, there were inundated 60 houses, while in Macaresti, Ungheni – 15 houses.
