Democratic Party calls on society not to believe rumors
The Democratic Party (PDM) welcomes the political developments taking place in Moldova following the change of power, but is concerned about the information and rumors disseminated in the society, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting an appeal letter from the PDM.
The party says that the periods of political changes are always accompanied by the appearance of all kinds of rumors and incorrect information, which are usually spread by the political forces that lost the elections.
The PDM calls on the society not to believe the rumors and insinuations disseminated lately, including about cuts in educational programs and social programs for war veterans, persons with disabilities and pensioners and the closure of schools for other-language speakers.
According to the party, the spread of such deceptive information leads to destabilization in the society and creation of an atmosphere of insecurity and distrust in the country’s future.
