The Ministry of Justice registered the Democratic Action Party (PAD). Now that it is registered officially, the party will start to implement the principles, objectives and desiderata proposed at the Constitution Congress that took place on November 6, 2011, the party says in a communiqué. The Democratic Action Party announced that it is a liberal, reforming, proactive and European party that aims to bring to power an honest, efficient, tolerant and open to dialogue political class that would ensure the real reforming of society, Info-Prim Neo reports. Currently, the Democratic Action Party has about 8,000 members. Mihai Godea founded the Alternative Democratic Platform after he left the PLDM and ran independently in the mayoral elections in Chisinau last spring. On July 21, the leaders of the platform announced the launch of the Democratic Action Party.
