The aim of the visit is to strengthen the economic and commercial ties between Moldova and France, to stimulate new French investments and the development of French businesses in Moldova, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the Embassy of France.
The delegation will be in Chisinau during March 22-23. It includes 15 company managers and is headed by Pierre Moraillon, chairman of the Council of Enterprise Managers of France. The businessmen are accompanied by representatives of French companies that are present in Moldova, French Ambassador Pierre Andrieu, the head of the Economic Service for Ukraine and Moldova with residence in Kiev Bernard Paitreault and the president of Mobiasbanca-Groupe Société Générale Jean-Francois Myard.
From political viewpoint, this visit shows that France and its business representatives support the reforms launched by the Government of Moldova and the steps taken to make progress on the path to European integration, the communique says.
Besides having official meetings with the Head of Parliament, Prime Minister and ministers, the delegation will also meet representatives of international financial institutions working in Moldova such as the EBRD, the EIB, the IMF and the World Bank.
