A delegation from Chisinau will participate in the Cultural Days of the Romanian city of Vaslui during August 13-15, reports IPN.
During the three days of the festival, the people of Vaslui will have the opportunity to admire the works of the painters of the Moldovan Union of Plastic Artists, which will be exhibited at the Foyer of the Constantin Tănase Hall of Culture. The History Museum of Chisinau will present the exhibition “A remarkable tandem: Mayor Carol Schmidt and the architect Alexandru Bernardazzi” and the exhibition “Chisinau in Colors”, by Lică Sainciuc, at the Esplanade of the Ștefan cel Mare County Museum.
On August 14, the Nicolae Milescu-Spătaru County Library will host the launch of Eugen Doga’s book “My life as it was”, published with the support of the Chisinau City Hall, and the evening will culminate with a performance from the composer Eugen Doga and singer Paula Seling.
On the final day of the event, the folk singer Maria Iliuț and the Crenguța de Iederă ethno-folk ensemble will perform. The 2022 edition of the festival will be crowned by a performance from the Municipal Folk Music Orchestra of the Advahov Brothers and the band Zdob si Zdub.
