Delegates from seven states will take part in meeting of Interstate Council for Cooperation in Construction in Chisinau

Representatives from seven CIS member states will discuss the modernization of the price formation system in the construction sector, the development of house building for all the groups of people and the seismic protection of the social facilities and apartment blocks in Chisinau on October 26 and 27. The discussions are included in the agenda of the twenty-fifth meeting of the Interstate Council for Cooperation in the Construction Industry. According to the Agency for Construction and Territorial Development of Moldova, the Interstate Council for Cooperation in the Construction Industry aims at a mutually advantageous partnership in using the raw material and technical-material basis in construction and at the investment, technical-scientific and other forms of cooperation in the construction sector. At the twenty-fifth meeting, the Republic of Moldova will present a report on the thermal protection of constructions. Delegates from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Russia, Tajikistan, and Ukraine are expected to come to Chisinau. Modlova will be represented by the director general of the Agency for Construction and Territorial Development Vladimir Baldovici. The meeting will be also attended by representatives of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova and of the Technical University, by scientists and experts in constructions, by chairmen of the national technical committees etc. The Interstate Council for Cooperation in the Construction Industry holds meetings every half a year in different CIS states. The last meeting took place on June 7, 2007 in the capital of Kazakhstan, Astana.
