Delegates from nine CIS states are taking part in the sixteenth meeting of the Coordination Council of the Regional Communication Community held in Chisinau, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology, the meeting will center on the national information society building programs. There will be discussed measures to ensure the information security of the infrastructure of the electronic governments from the Commonwealth of Independent States and will be approved the strategy of cooperation between the CIS member states until 2015. “The event will contribute to the development of the ICT sector in the CIS area through the dialogue format it creates and through permanent exchanges of experience between administrations,” the Ministry says in a communique. The sixteenth meeting of the Coordination Council of the Regional Communication Community is held at the Palace of the Republic, starting at 09.30. The heads of the delegations of Russia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, and Bulgaria will have meetings with Acting President Mihai Ghimpu and Prime Minister Vlad Filat.
