President Igor Dodon signed the decrees to appoint Ion Stăvilă as Moldova’s Ambassador to Estonia and Dumitru Braghiș as Moldova’s Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China, IPN reports.
Ion Stăvilă earlier headed Moldova’s Embassy in Kiev and worked as ambassador with special missions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova. Former Prime Minister Dumitru Braghiș served as Ambassador to Russia.
“I expressed my confidence that the cooperation relations with these states, together with the appointment of the new ambassadors, will reach a superior qualitative level despite the global pandemic crisis,” President Dodon posted on Facebook.
