Decreasing intensity of heat is not a solution to reduce costs, Termocom
The employees of SA Termocom, in concert with housing stock managers, during February 1-10 checked a number of apartments whose dwellers complained about the quality of heating, Info-Prim Neo reports.
It was established that the persons responsible for meters in apartment buildings reduced the intensity of heat. Thus, the temperature in apartments also decreased. As to the problems related to the supply of hot water, they are due to technical difficulties in the internal piping systems of the blocks.
Therefore, Termocom informs that the only method of decreasing the costs of heating the apartments is to fully stop the heat supply for 4-6 hours during warm days, when the temperatures outside are over 8 degrees Celsius.
Other methods used by the persons responsible for meters usually lead to a halt in the supply of heat to the apartments that are located further from the meters and, consequently, the dwellers’ dissatisfaction with the quality of the services provided increases.
