The streets of Chisinau will be lit with decorative lights at night during the Easter holidays, from May 3 until May 14, IPN reports.

In the April 29 meeting of Chisinau City Hall officials, the head of the municipal lighting company “Lumteh” Nicolae Vereshko said the decorative lights will be turned on in the parts of the city where there are such installations.

On May 3, special new paschal lighting will be set up in the square of the Metropolitan Cathedral. Nicolae Vereshko said the access roads to churches and cemeteries will also be lit.
