In the course of 2018, the legislative body held 43 plenary sittings. The debates in Parliament lasted for 219 hours, shows the legislature’s statistics report that is quoted by IPN. A number of 28 plenary sittings took place during the spring session of 2018, while 15 during the autumn session.
In 2014-2018, the Parliament of the 20th legislature held 173 plenary sittings, which is over 950 hours of debates. Of these, two sittings were closed, one was a solemn meeting, two were staged as part of a special session and two as part of an extraordinary session. The largest number of sittings, 50, took place in 2016.
