As many as 264 infections with COVID-19 were confirmed in Moldova on June 5. The number of infections now totals 9,511. The casualties from the novel coronavirus reached 331, IPN reports.
According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, 1,548 tests were dome today, 1,247 of which were primary tests and the rest were rerun tests. Twenty-five of those who tested positive today are employees of the healthcare system.
The Ministry also announced three deaths caused by COVID-19. The victims are a woman aged 65 from Bălți and two men aged 71 and 78 from Cahul and Strășeni.
A number of 5,450 persons who contracted the virus have been cured by now.
