The Days of the Diaspora will take place in Moldova, at national and local levels, on August 28-30. On September 1-3, Chisinau will host the Sixth Congress of the Diaspora, which will involve representatives of the Moldovan diaspora from 19 countries, IPN reports.

By a Government decision of July 11, a committee was set up for organizing the two events. Its nominal composition was approved.

The costs for organizing and holding the events will be covered with the budget allocations intended for the State Chancellery. The organizational committee will also attract sponsorships.
