Thirty-eight day summer camps began to work at pre-university eduction institutions in Chisinau on June 3. More than 3,300 students will be able to rest there. A ticket for 15 days costs 710 lei, but the parents will pay only 142 lei, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the City Hall.
Summer camps will be also opened outside the city, including “Poienita Vesela”, “Ciresarii”, “Neptun”, and “Alunelul”.
A number of 15,855 children will benefit from tickets to camps this summer. The parents will pay 20% of the price of the ticket. 25% of the tickets for camps located outside the city will be distributed free of charge.
The free tickets will be given to children from large families, who have at least one parent retired, are under guardianship, were placed in family-type children's homes or temporary accommodation centers, achieved good results at school or won sports competitions, and children whose parents took part in military conflicts or in the Chernobyl clean-up.
