The star of the national football team of Austria David Alaba will play in the October 9 match against Moldova. The game will take place at the Zimbru stadium in Chisinau, starting at 9:45pm, IPN reports.
Alaba has won three times the title of champion in Germany with Bayern Munchen, with which he also won the Champions League in 2013. The 22-year-old fullback scored for 1-1 in the previous match of Austria against Sweden.
Several players of Austria will yet be absent from the match against Moldova. “I do not want to say who will not play on Thursday evening. I can only tell you that it will be a hard game. There are now no weak opponents,” Austria coach Marcelo Koller told a news conference.
“We prepared seriously for this game. We want to score a victory,” said the captain of Austria Christian Fuchs.
Austria and Moldova have met two times so far and won by a victory.
