Dan Olaru ranks fourth at Grand Prix in Croatia

Moldovan archer Dan Olaru finished fourth at the European Grand Prix held in Croatia. In the struggle for the bronze medal, Irina Chekanova’s pupil lost to Slovenian’s Den Habjan Malavasic 4-6, IPN reports.

The competition was won by France’s Thomas Chirault, who beat the Moldovan athlete in the semifinals. Owing to the results achieved this year, Dan Olaru climbed to the seventh spot in the world rankings. At the end of this month, he will contend in the European Games in Krakow-Malopolska.

Dan Olaru, 26, competed in two editions of the Olympic Games.
