Dan Brown's Lost Symbol soon in Moldovan bookstores

“The Lost Symbol”, Dan Brown's follow-up to the international bestseller “The Da Vinci Code”, will appear soon in Moldova courtesy to the bookstore chain Pro Noi, Info-Prim Neo reports. Te first copies in Romanian will be available no earlier than on December 10, but book fans can make reservations in the period November 1 through December 10 by buying vouchers at a reduced price. Only voucher holders will be able to buy the first books, Pro Noi said in a press release. The second consignment will be in stores starting January 18 and will be available in standard conditions, at a price of 250 lei. As a promotion text describes it, The Lost Symbol is “a heart-stopping race through a real-world labyrinth of codes, secrets, and unseen truths. Set within the hidden chambers, tunnels, and temples of Washington, D.C., this novel once again plunges Dan Brown’s legions of fans into a world of ancient mysteries and secret societies”. On its first day, 15 Sept. 2009, the book sold one million in hardcover and e-book versions, making it the fastest selling adult novel in history.
