Dairy products and eggs grow more expensive

One kilogram of ewe milk cheese at the market costs 80 lei, as opposed to 70 lei a month ago. Cow milk cheese and sour cream is sold for 40 lei/kg, as against 35 lei/kg at the end of last month. One kilogram of butter costs 45 lei and up. Ten eggs can be bought for 18 lei, in contrast to 15 lei last week, IPN reports.

Pork without bones cost at least 80 lei/kg at the market as last week, while beef is sold for 70 lei/kg, as earlier.

Tomatoes can be purchased for at least 25 lei/kg as last week, while cucumbers for 25 lei/kg. The price of bell peppers remained 15 lei/kg. Eggplants continue to be sold for 15 lei/kg.

The price of one kilogram of capsicums is 25 lei. Potatoes and onions are sold for 6 lei/kg as earlier.  Cabbage can be bought for 4 lei/kg, while a bunch of green onion tops, parsley or dill for 3-4 lei. Mushrooms sell for 28 lei/kg and up.

Plums can be bought for 12 lei/kg, as two weeks ago. Grapes are sold for 10 lei/kg on average, while apples and pears for 8 lei/kg and 12 lei/kg respectively.
