Daily-attendance centre for spiritual and physical recovery of lonely, ill persons will open in Chisinau

The KEDEM centre will open a daily-attendance centre for spiritual and physical recovery of lonely, ill persons and people with locomotion handicap in Chisinau on March 21. KEDEM advertising manager Maria Turculet has stated to Info-Prim Neo that the centre is the second of this kind and it opens with the support of the public organisation of the Jewish Charity Centre Hasad Ieguda and Association for Social Aid and Charity Acasa. The project aims to assist vulnerable and lonely people, persons who faced spiritual problems, no matter what nationality or religion they have. The existing centre provides a wide range of social, communal, health and cultural services to willing persons. They receive hot food two times a day, Turculet said, noting that they do physical exercises for treatment and psychological therapy, participate in crochets, drawing, tailoring, they learn foreign languages, receive medical consultations, celebrate their birthdays. The inauguration of the daily-attendance centre for spiritual and physical of lonely, ill people and persons suffering from locomotion handicap is part of celebration of the Jewish holiday Purim.
