UNDP Resident Representative and UN Resident Coordinator in Moldova Dafina Gercheva said the UN will continue to assist the country in achieving the national policy priorities so as to attain the global objectives set in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The UN official spoke about this in a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Andrei Galbur, IPN reports.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Andrei Galbur underlined Moldova’s interest in continuing projects aimed at promoting the confidence building measures in the context of the Transnistrian conflict settlement process.

In another development, Dafina Gherceva welcomed the minister’s intention to take part in the UNDP 50th Anniversary Ministerial Meeting that will take place in New York on February 24.
