Moldova’s football champion in 2011 Dacia Chisinau will not compete in the next season of the National Division. According to the club’s website, the “yellow wolves” withdrew from the championship, IPN reports.
Dacia remained without financing after Adlan Shishkhanov took over the Latvian team Ventspils. In the friendly matches of this winter, the team from Chisinau was led by the former coach of the national football team of Moldova Igor Dobrovolski.
Founded in 1999, Dacia managed to mount the winner’s rostrum for nine times, winning a gold, seven silvers and a bronze. In 2011 the team won also Moldova’s Super Cup.
