Dacia took revenge on Sheriff for the defeat suffered in the ‘golden match’ of the previous season. The vice champion won the last match by 3-0 and climbed to the fifth spot in the rankings, IPN reports.
Ukrainian footballer Feshchuk scored two goals, in the 16th and 61st minutes, while Cojocaru set the scoreline in the 68th minute. “We all thought that we were in a crisis, but we are not. We won a clear, deserved victory,” Dacia manager Igor Klesov told a news conference.
Even if Sheriff lost the match against Dacia, it remains a leader with 18 points, being two points ahead of Zaria and Zimbru.
The matches of the ninth stage will take place on September 25. Petrocub Hancesti meets Academia, Zaria - Milsami, Dinamo-Auto - Dacia, Ungheni – Zimbru, while Sheriff - Speranta.
