Dacia secure first place before winter recess
Dacia Chisinau on Sunday secured the first place of the National Division, having hammered lowly-placed St. Gheorghe Suruceni 7-0 in the next to last round of the premiership before the winter recess, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Striker Ghenadie Orbu was the man of the match, with three goals scored. With a total of 15 goals, Orbu is the indisputable leader of the premiership.
Milsami Orhei were dislocated to the second place after a goalless draw with Olimpia Balti. This was the last game of the year for both teams.
Iskra-Stal Ribnita lost the chance to climb to the third spot after a goalless draw with FC Tiraspol. After this match, Iskra-Stal remained without a manager as Vlad Goian is set to strike a deal with FC Tiraspol.
Elsewhere in the premiership, the following results were registered: Nistru – Zimbru 1-5, Gagauziya – Sheriff 0-4, FC Costuleni – Rapid 1-2, Academia UTM – Dinamo 1-1.
