Dacia could be relegated

Dacia received only license A and could lose the right to compete in the European Cups and the National Division. The ‘yellow wolves’ can appeal this decision to the Appeals Body of the Moldovan Football Federation (MFF) within five days, IPN reports.

“Dacia had an older financial problem that was examined by different courts until it reached the Dispute Resolution Chamber of FIFA, which ruled against Dacia. The club from Chisinau challenged this decision in the Court of Arbitration for Sport of Lausanne (CAS). But the CAS upheld the decision of the Dispute Resolution Chamber,” MFF vice president Mihai Anghel told a news conference.

Also today, the clubs Milsami, Sheriff, FC Tiraspol, Zimbru and Saxan received the UEFA license enabling to compete in the National Division, on a stadium homologated by the MFF, and in the European Cups, on a stadium homologated by UEFA. Another three clubs - Academia, Zaria and Dinamo-Auto – got a National license that allows playing in the National Division, on a stadium homologated by the MFF.
