As from January 30, 2021, the foreigners are banned from staying on the territory of the Czech Republic if the stay is not related to the job, study or reunification of the family, IPN reports, quoting the updated information provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration.
The state of emergency in the Czech Republic is in force until February 14, 2021. Trips to this country are possible only for essential reasons. No difference is now made based on the categories of states (red, orange, green zones). The essential reasons include trips related to job, medical care or burial and do not include recreational activities, visits to friends or celebrations.
The citizens of non-EU member states are not allowed to enter the Czech Republic, if only they have permits of stay issued by the Czech Republic and long-stay visas, have residence in an EU member state or if they travel to the place of residence, to work, to study or to visit the family.
