Czech Premier expected to visit Chisinau in second half of 2015

The Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Bohuslav Sobotka is to pay a visit to Moldova in the second half of this year. The issue was discussed in a meeting of Prime Minister Chiril Gaburici and the Czech Republic’s Ambassador in Chisinau Jaromír Kvapil, IPN reports.

In the meeting, Chiril Gaburici welcomed the holding, on an annual basis, of the meetings of the Moldovan-Czech commission on economic, industrial and technical-scientific cooperation and of the working groups on transport and energy. “We are glad that an intergovernmental meeting will be staged for the first time this year. This shows that the dialogue between our countries has developed,” stated the Premier.

The Czech diplomat reiterated the Czech Republic’s support for Moldova’s European integration efforts and encouraged the authorities to make effort to achieve the set objectives.

The Czech Republic annually offers Moldova €3 million in assistance for implementing projects in different areas of activity.
