Czech foreign minister postpones visit to Moldova

The Czech Minister of Foreign Affairs Jakub Kulhánek has postponed his August 20 visit to Moldova for a later date citing a last-minute change in his agenda. This was announced in a press release by the Moldovan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration.

Jakub Kulhánek was supposed to visit Chisinau on the invitation of Nicu Popescu, Moldova’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration. The agenda of the Czech official’s visit included meetings with his Moldovan counterpart Nicu Popescu, with President Maia Sandu and with Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița.

The agenda was supposed to cover the main issues of Moldovan-Czech cooperation, development assistance programs, as well as Moldova's European agenda, in light of the upcoming Eastern Partnership Summit.
