Czech entrepreneurs willing to invest in Moldova
Czech investors examine the possibility of implementing a pilot-project for producing bio-fuel in Moldova, informs Info-Prim Neo referring to the Governmental Press Service.
The deputy chairman of the European Investment Bank, Sauli Niinisto, declared at a meeting with the Moldovan prime-minister Vasile Tarlev, that the bank received the agreement of expanding in the EU neighboring countries, and the Republic of Moldova presents a great interest in this context.
The prime-minister estimated the necessity of elaborating and implementing some programs of mutual interests, especially the ones that regard the development of the infrastructure, transports, industry, energy etc.
In 2005 the volume of Moldovan exports to Czech Republic constituted 4.4 million USD, increasing by 2.4% comparing to 2004. The imports in the same period amounted to 28.8 million dollars, or by 33.6% more comparing to 2004.
