Czech Embassy brings national food to Chisinau
The gourmets will be able to savor delicious Czech food during three days in Chisinau, starting with the last weekend, Info-Prim Neo reports.
During the event organized by the Embassy of the Czech Republic, visitors will be able to taste Czech culinary delights prepared by cooking masters Jan Pýcha and Jaromír Sadílek, who run well-known restaurants in the Czech Republic and hold international gastronomy awards.
The traditional food will include pork steak with cabbage rolls and duck steak with knedlíky and red cabbage.
Those who like fish will be able to try the traditional Christmas recipe – fried carp with potato salad and knot-shaped bread with plums or the famous apple strudel for dessert.
The organizers did not forget about the traditional drinks. There will be served the well-known herb liquor Becherovka, plum brandy and Czech beer.
