Cyber crimes can be reported on 22-34-54

The Prosecutor General’s Office launched the hotline 22-34-54 that can be used to report different cybernetic threats, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to the head of the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office Maria Vieru, the illegal access to computerized information, illegal interception of data transmission, unauthorized access to telecommunication networks and services, violation of the secrecy of correspondence, including by e-mail, and child pornography are among the cyber crimes that can be reported through the hotline.
The telephone line was set up by order of the prosecutor general. Prosecutor Veaceslav Soltan, division head at the Prosecutor General’s Office, was entrusted with the task of dealing with the applications coming from people and of monitoring the investigations into the related cases.
The Prosecutor General’s Office called upon the people to contribute to the prevention and combating of computer crimes in Moldova.
