A Customs Service sniffer dog named Daiana has helped officers at the Sculeni border crossing find 2,100 cigarette packs. The contraband was stashed underneath the floor and inside the fuel tank of a Moldovan bus en route to the Romanian city of Sibiu, the Service said in a press release.

According to the preliminary investigation, the driver of the fixed-route bus intended to sell the contraband cigarettes in Romania.

The cigarettes were confiscated, while the bus has been arrested until all the circumstances are established.
