A number of customs posts resumed work after yesterday’s heavy snowfalls. The transfrontier traffic runs smoothly through the customs posts “Saiti” and “Cismichioi”. The customs posts “Sculeni” and “Leuseni” also work in a normal regime, the traffic restrictions on Romania’s territory being lifted, IPN reports.
However, the customs posts “Ceadar-Lunga 1”, “Ceadar-Lunga 2” and “Rybnitsa feroviar” remain closed. The Customs Service said these will restart work only after the information systems managed by the Ukrainian border authorities become functional.
Also, owing to technical glitches in the database of the Romanian Border Police, the crossing of the border through the customs post “Cahul-Oancea” is not permitted.
