Customs officers without nonworking day

The Customs Service of Moldova informs the importers, exporters and carriers that all the internal customs posts work according to the ordinary program on May 10 and 11, from 8am until 5pm, IPN reports.

In a communiqué, the Customs Service says that in connection with the holidays that influence the work of the economic entities performing import, export and transportation operations, the Service’s director general Tudor Balitski signed an order stipulating that the internal customs posts will work according to the ordinary program so as to fluidize the traffic of goods on the perimeter of the Moldovan-Romanian and Moldovan-Ukrainian border.

It should be noted that the Government in February adopted a decision whereby May 10 (Friday) was declared a nonworking day for which employees will work on May 18. Thus, this May the budget-funded workers have a five-day vacation, from May 9 until May 13 inclusive.
