An inspector at the Briceni Customs Office was arrested by the Anticorruption Center (CCCEC) on charges of passive corruption, Info-Prim Neo reports. The CCCEC acted on a tip that the inspector had extorted $550 from a driver to guarantee an easy passage through the customs checkpoint. During the arrest the CCCEC officers found on the 36-year-old inspector the extorted money marked as 'bribe'.
