The employees of the Customs Service will no longer use the office cars for personal purposes. An order to this effect was made by the Service’s administration after examining the service cars of the company’s Central Staff IPN reports.
According to a press release of the Customs Service, there were examined all the units of transport and their use. A number of deviations were identified, including the provision of office cars for private use, excessive use of fuel and ignoring of the regular technical overhaul.
As a result, the Customs Service’s Director General Vitalie Vrabie ordered reducing the number of office cars at the Central Staff. The other cars will be distributed to local subdivisions.
It was also decided to limit fuel consumption. The vehicles will be parked according to the internal regulations, which is at the parking lot of the Customs Service. The vehicles that do not meet the technical requirements will stop to be used.
