Culture employees will gain managerial knowledge at continuous formation institute

The Ministry of Culture aims to open a continuous formation institute for people working in the field of culture with a view to attracting investments and efficiently administering cultural projects, IPN reports.

Minister of Culture Monica Babuc told a news conference that the cultural sector of Moldova has a serious deficiency related to the working out of projects for attracting financing. Most of the projects submitted for getting financing from the state do not meet the announced selection criteria.

A solution is to continuously train the managers of cultural institutions. According to the minister, when the people of art know how to correctly present a project for financing, the investments in the field of culture will rise, including state financing for the rehabilitation of ruined mansions and historical buildings.
