The Parliament’s commission on culture, education, research, youth, sport and mass media decided to recommend the legislative body not to modify Article 75 of the Labor Code, which provides that Europe Day is celebrated on May 9. The decision was taken by six votes in favor and two against, IPN reports.

According to the legislature’s press service, the commission examined two draft laws that were sent back by the President of the Republic of Moldova for reconsideration.

It was also decided to recommend Parliament not to modify bill No. 190 to amend and supplement a number of legal acts concerning science management.
