On International Children’s Day that is celebrated on June 1, the municipal authorities of Chisinau will mount a number of cultural and artistic activities intended for children. The events will take place in central Chisinau and also in districts, namely in parks, squares or near fountains, IPN reports.

The Chisinau City Hall said the children are invited to a free tip by the Tourist Trolleybus to the world of history and legends from 10am until 4pm. There will be operated four routes that will start from the Great National Assembly Square.

Between 11am and 2pm, a festive concert involving students of art schools will be given in the Square “Mihai Eminescu”. An entertaining program for children entitled “Childhood, Magic Moments” will be staged in the Square “M. Dolgan” at 43 Bulgară St between 11am and 3pm. A recreational program titled “Sweet Childhood” will be mounted near the musical fountain on Dacia Blvd, at the intersection with Trandafirilor St, between 11:30am and 3:30pm.

Similar programs will be organized on Mircea cel Bătrân Blvd and in the Square of the Memorial Complex situated on Moscovei Blvd, at the intersection with Miron Costin St, from 12 noon until 4pm.

Amusing games and contests will be held in the parks “La Izvor”, “Alunelul” and “Dendrariu” starting at 1pm.
