A kilogram of cucumbers at the market costs 23 to 25 lei, as opposed to 12-13 lei last week. Tomatoes can be bought for 12-15 lei/kg, in contrast to 7-8 lei a week ago. A kilogram of bell peppers is sold for 11 lei and up, as against 10 lei earlier, IPN reports.

Egg plants cost 15 lei/kg, up from 10 lei/kg a week ago. A kilogram of capsicums is sold for 18 lei. Last week, these could be bought for 16 lei. Potatoes and onions are sold for 6 lei a kilogram, as last week. Cabbage can be bought for 4 lei/kg, as earlier. A bunch of dill or parsley costs 3 lei, while of red onion tops 4 lei, as last week.

Plums are sold for 12 lei/kg, as earlier. Grapes cost 10 lei/kg and up. The price of watermelons doubled to 4 lei/kg.
