CUB notifies PGO of meeting held by PSRM with United Russia in Moscow

The Coalition for Unity and Welfare (CUB) requested the Prosecutor General’s Office (PGO) to penalize the Socialist MPs who met in Moscow several days ago with representatives of the ruling Russian party United Russia that, according to the CUB, promoted, supported and authorized all the war crimes against Ukraine, IPN reports.

The party noted the PSRM’s actions should be penalized. “The MPs of the PSRM asked for support and assistance from the party that legalized the annexation of Crimea and the absorption of the so-called People’s Republics of Donetsk and Luhansk, which are parts of the sovereign territory of Ukraine in accordance with international law, while in 2022 United Russia voted unanimously to annex four regions of Ukraine (Donetsk, Zaporozhe, Kherson, and Luhansk) to Russia (resolution No.58243-8),” the CUB said in a statement.

The Coalition for Unity and Welfare is bothered that a parliamentary party had political consultations with those who demanded to recognize Transnistria as a territory of the Russian state. “This way, Pyotr Tolstoy, State Duma deputy speaker, stated that “the infrastructure of Ukraine will be destroyed, and Ukraine will be sent back to the 18th century,” while Artyom Turov repeatedly asserted that “Transnistria is an inalienable part of the Russia state,” argued the CUB, reminding of the scandalous statements of Russian officials.

The CUB considers the discussions held by the Socialists with Vladimir Putin’s party amidst an occupation war against Ukraine can be regarded as treason.

The CUB will also file a notification to the Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime and Special Cases today.
