The Superior Council of Magistracy (CSM) will come together on Tuesday, August 17, after a two-month break. There are 41 issues on the agenda.
The CSM will examine the resignation requests of Judge Ion Muruianu of the Chișinău Court of Appeals and Judge Oleg Ciumaș of the Bălți Court of Appeals, as well as appeals against the decisions of the Disciplinary Board issued against several judges.
Another item on the agenda concerns the organization of a contest to fill vacancies in the Board for the selection and career of judges. Also on the agenda is a referral to the Constitutional Court regarding the constitutionality review of certain legal provisions concerning the grounds for dismissal of judges.
