A high flow of passengers is witnessed at border crossing points during the holidays. About 60,000 crossings were reported over the last 24 hours. The busiest is the Chisinau International Airport, followed by the Leușeni and Sculeni customs posts.
To avoid crowdedness, the Border Police recommends travelers to choose alternative border crossing points. For example, to avoid crowding at " Leușeni-Albița”, travelers can choose the "Leova-Bumbăta" crossing point, which works between 08:00 a.m. and 08:00 p.m., or the "Cahul-Oancea" point. Instead of the "Sculeni-Sculeni" customs post, travelers can opt for "Costești-Stânca" or "Lipcani-Rădăuți Prut".
It should be noted that in the last 24 hours, 26 foreign citizens were refused entry into the Republic of Moldova.
