Croatia supports confidence building between Nistru sides
Croatia supports the projects of confidence building between the two sides of the Nistru, and may contribute to them by sharing its experience in population’s post-conflict rehabilitation and reconciliation. The statement was made by Croatian head for bilateral affairs Nebojsa Koharovic, during a meeting with Deputy Premier Eugen Carpov, reports Info-Prim Neo.
According to a communiqué from the Reintegration Bureau, the Deputy Premier noted all the recent events in the settlement process, including the results of the last 5+2 type negotiations. The main topic of the dialogue was the activity of regional task forces from both banks of the Nistru.
Nebojsa Koharovic praised the direction of the relations between the two sides of the Nistru, as well as Moldova’s success in implementing reforming policies under the Eastern Partnership.
Nebojsa Koharovic pointed out that Croatia will support Moldova’s pro-European aspirations, and that his country is ready to share its European integration experience.
