The Căușeni Police Inspectorate instituted criminal proceedings in the case of the two persons who were found dead in a car that got stuck in a snowdrift and was covered over with snow close to Coșcalia village. The information wad confirmed for IPN by the press officer of the Căușeni Police Inspectorate Mariana Didenco.

According to the quoted source, the exact cause of death of the two persons will be determined by postmortems.

Contacted by IPN for details, spokeswoman for the Prosecutor General’s Office Violina Moraru said the investigation body will verify the cause of death of the two persons and will examine the actions taken by the persons in charge of the management of the situation caused by the severe weather.

A man aged 63 and a woman aged 64 were found dead in a car that got stuck in a snowdrift not far from Coșcalia village of Căușeni district.
