A casino operating in Cricova town of Chisinau municipality was closed after the police discovered that its administration worked in the absence of the mandatory license and other legal documents. There were also found financial resources that were not included in the bookkeeping records, IPN reports.
The Chisinau Police Division said the gaming machines were set up and worked without being subject to metrological standardization procedures. The police decided to seize and seal up nine machines. These will be kept in the corpus delicti storeroom until the court passes judgment in this case.
Administrative proceedings were instituted over the purchase, keeping, transportation and illegal sale of tangible assets and over the violation of the rules of using the cash register.
