Five deaths associated with COVID-19 were reported last week in Moldova. The victims are two women and three men, aged between 69 and 88.
The National Agency for Public Health (ANSP) said that, from January 29 to February 4, 460 cases of COVID-19 were reported, including 66 in the Transnistrian region.
According to the ANSP, morbidity from acute upper respiratory infections (AURI) was at a medium intensity last week. In total, 11,373 AURI cases were registered, most of them in children (62.2%). During the past week, 286 cases of seasonal flu were also recorded.
