Court decision execution to become more operative

The Parliament approved on Thursday, July 6, in final reading the draft bill on forced execution system that, according to authors, will stimulate the operative and the high quality execution of the court decisions and reduce to minimum the number of non-executed ones. The draft bill is composed of 8 chapters and 34 articles and sets the structure of the execution system, the statute of the court executor, his rights and obligations, the conditions of material and financial assistance of the execution system etc. In the authors’ opinion, the adoption of the bill will contribute to establishment of a well shaped system with efficient application, providing the opportunity for the bodies of the forced execution system to fulfill successfully their tasks, and the number of the outstanding decisions to be reduced significantly. According to the Statistic Section of the Execution Department, about 65,000 court decisions were not executed by the end of 2005, compared with 82,000 at the end of 2004. Statistics of the first 6 months of 2006 were not made public yet.
